If yu have a crawl space then you should really look at insulating it if it isn't already. Have a look at installing insulation under the flooring so that heat isn't lost through it. There is a surprising amount of heat from a home lost through the floor so it's shouldn't be overlooked. You can use blanket, loose fill as well as rigid sheets. Whatever type you opt for it's important that you compare the R-values becuase the higher it is the most insulating benefits you will receive.
